Rooted in centuries-old Indian artistry, Desi Dorii celebrates the timeless beauty of mirror work-an intricate craft traditionally created by hand, where delicate pieces of reflective glass are woven into textiles to capture light and movement. Once cherished across India for its vibrant elegance and cultural significance, mirror embroidery continues to embody the richness of Indian heritage.
The dream was to carry that heritage to a modern audience - bags that feel at home in a contemporary word yet remain unmistakably handmade. Each piece is created alongside skilled artisans, preserving techniques like hand-embroidery and mirror-work.
